Our Vision
Our vision is continuously building capacities, facilitating development, eradicating ignorance, creating beams of hope, advocating for the voiceless and stretching arms to the less privileged through the participatory efforts of volunteers.

Our Believe
We believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their needs, and we provide volunteers, technical and material support to help them achieve their goals.
We also believe international volunteering promotes cross-cultural learning that helps create global awareness, understanding between cultures and the platform for positive change.

Our Offices and Staffs
To maintain low cost of operations, effective projects monitoring, closeness to volunteers on the field and first hand knowledge of the various projects terrain, Elghana decided it is wiser to have our office in Africa. We have chosen to maintain a central office in Ghana due to its political stability and growing deepened democracy, rule of law and its assorted cultural, ecological and religious diversity providing at least a bit of each part of Africa. Our family includes the staffs in Ghana, our in-country coordinators and associate staff in the countries we work, all committed to offer our volunteers high quality and enriching volunteer and internship experience with captivating cultural immersion. In each of our project regions, Elghana maintains an office of a local coordinator whose job is to support our volunteers. Our coordinators have a distinguished and successful history of working with international volunteers. Most of our coordinators have served in a variety of service-oriented occupations: as expedition leaders, social workers, trek leaders, teachers, and other professions before they joined Elghana. With our head office in Africa, Ghana and partner offices in all regions hosting our programs, staff are 99% locals born and raised in those regions who understands the culture and structures in their regions, you shall be in the hands of people who offer the best guide, support and answers to your questions. With their experience gained working with several hundreds of volunteers, international workshops and travels, the staff also have multicultural skills, handy in understanding and supporting each volunteer. Being youthful and lively, expect to have the best among the best who know all the corners and spots for interesting activities, sightseeing and leisure.
