We are continuously building capacities, facilitating development, eradicating ignorance, creating beams of hope, advocating for the voiceless and stretching arms to the less privileged through the participatory efforts of international volunteers in our volunteer abroad programs.
Elghana offers volunteer abroad and internship service opportunities under community projects in Ghana and Kenya for you to volunteer or intern in orphanages, teach basic english and basic introduction to computers in basic schools and vocational schools, volunteer or intern in a hospital, clinic or health center, volunteer as a speaker, campaigner, counselor or support staff on HIV/Aids and Sex education programs, volunteer to provide support and care for people living with HIV/Aids, volunteer and intern in nature conservation projects, volunteer and intern in the wildlife parks or volunteer abroad in community development projects, all including cultural immersion. Because we believe that the locals are the best to determine their needs, our vision is to support the work of local community development organizations by providing volunteers, material and/or technical support.

Individual applicants should be at least 17 years. For group programs, if participants are of ages less than 17 years, the group should be accompanied by a chaperon who is an adult. The network continues to expand with new programs currently being researched and added.

Our head office is in Ghana and is supported by partner offices in the regions and other countries hosting our programs, run by locals born and raised in these areas who understand the culture and the way of life in all the various areas hosting projects. The staff have over the years developed multicultural skills, handy in understanding and supporting each volunteer.
