Volunteers are needed to help in the making of the sanitary pads, supervise teams to make the sanitary pads, demonstrate its usage and care to beneficiaries and provide female reproductive health education to teenage boys and girls in schools. No skill is required but it’s a plus if you know how to use a sewing machine. If you don’t do not worry, we provide the training and you can pick it up in two days of training to enable you to help us effectively, making more packs of the reusable pads. Topics covered by volunteers in the female reproductive health education are menstruation, ovulation, vaginal health, and sexual assault. Volunteers engage one on one with girls who might want to approach you after the program to ask personal questions, etc. Volunteers carry out this program in schools in the deprived communities we serve. Volunteers engage women in community public forum to provide the same female reproductive health education to the women, take questions and provide sanitary pads.
