Our hardworking team

Dr. Agyeman Prempeh: initiated the activities that led to the formation of Sem Fronteiras Charity organization. In 2001, his private urban planning firm was consulting for several landowners and local chiefs across the lower parts of Ghana. He started activism to encourage the local chiefs to invest the land sale proceeds into education and community development programs for children of their communities. He currently serves as patron of the organization.

Dr. Barbara Amoah: She currently chairs the board of the organization. Since assuming the role, she has led the board in responding to changing circumstance, reorganized programs with new intervention areas and passing off other programs to community-based organizations to continue. She is a research professor in pest management in the United States.

Agyapong Gyamfi: is currently the head of programs for the organization. With many years consulting for other NGOs and working with Sem Fronteiras from entry level, he tackles every assignment with the passion that inspired the vision of this great organization.

Dora Kyei Kwarteng: Is a deputy programs officer in charge of resources. She has been with the organization since 2007.

Dr. Richard Opoku-Nsiah is a Mathematician and Statistician. He works at the Boston Headoffice of American giant insurers, Liberty Mutual. He serves on the board of our organization and is responsible for education initiatives. He pioneered the academic and social counseling services we provide students from 9th grade through to college, helping them pursue courses matching their strength, current and projected environment of opportunities.

Francis Donkor: Worked as the district manager for a leading produce buying company in Ghana before joining our team in 2007. Francis Donkor as a certified accountant managed over 30 purchasing clerks for his district for 8 years before joining us. He is the head of finance and administration.

Mike Owusu: With a great passion for community development, Mike serves our organization as the deputy programs officer in charge of field programs and network relations.

Emmanuel Peprah: A professional geologist, Emmanuel left the mining company to join our team after he saw how the lives of local people were seriously affected by mining activities. Emmanuel serves as special assistant to the head of programs.

Stella Poku: Very heart-warming, ever-ready to help. Stella is the front desk manager meeting people each day with a broad smile on her face

Alice Fredua Agyeman: Is a special assistant in charge of community relations. Alice is one of the fun-loving ladies you will experience always bringing hope to families and communities and encouraging them to keep working hard to bring a change for tomorrow.

Dwomoh Agyapong: Is a special assistant in charge of volunteers’ welfare. Dwomoh is one of the fun-loving young men you will experience when working with us as a volunteer.
